
Campus Engagement Intern
Position Overview:
Cincinnati Hillel is looking for dynamic and outgoing Campus Engagement Intern to help expand and strengthen relationships with students and organizations across campus. Working closely with Muhammed and the engagement team, this intern will create meaningful connections, organize engaging programs, and foster an inclusive and vibrant Jewish community at UC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute student engagement initiatives, including tabling, pop-ups, and dorm-based programs.
- Work alongside Hillel staff and student leaders to implement strategies that increase student participation through relationship-building.
- Foster relationships with a diverse range of students across campus to enhance community involvement.
- Collaborate with campus organizations and departments to create collaborative and impactful joint programs/events.
- Attend programs/events to help boost relationship-building.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to engagement efforts.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of the needs and interests of University of Cincinnati students through coffee chats and data collection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain meaningful relationships.
- Enthusiastic about meeting new people and engaging with students.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
Supervision & Reporting:
This position reports to Muhammed and the Cincinnati Hillel engagement team.
Time Commitment & Compensation:
- Compensation is $500 per semester, with a time commitment of 5–7 hours per week.
