Social Media and Digital Communications Intern
The Office of the Bergen County Executive is seeking a summer social media and digital communications intern. This is a paid, part-time position with the ability to work up to 19 hours a week in person at the County Administration Building in Hackensack.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with frequent posting on social media platforms.
- Create and maintain systems to organize content, including photos, videos, and written materials.
- Draft remarks for events and public communications.
- Assist in content creation.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently received a bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, communications, digital media, or a related field.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Experience with social media and understanding of best practices.
- Experience with video editing or graphic design is a plus but not required.
