The Role
The BuzzFeed Studios AI Fellowship is a 12-week program for eager Gen AI video producers ready to master the tools and techniques of the next generation of content. Throughout the program, you will learn BuzzFeed’s process/voice/strategy for creating compelling, shareable video content. This includes enhancing your production skills from ideation to execution - brainstorming, generating, editing, notes, packaging -- and exploring how and why people view and share AI videos through YouTube and other platforms.
You are a native of the digital and pop culture landscape with intimate knowledge of the latest and greatest in emerging technology, including AI video. You have a special interest in entertaining content in any of the following categories: Food, Celebrity, True Crime, Horror/Thriller, and Comedy. You enjoy making content and are obsessed with the internet (AKA you devour the things people are sharing, liking, recommending and talking about), and the possibilities that come through technology advances. Fellows will work with and learn from members of the Video team and partner from time to time with members of the film and television teams. This is the perfect fellowship for someone interested in pursuing a career as a creator or in entertainment, new media, or creative services and fascinated by viral content, AI generation, human psychology, pop culture, and the changing media landscape.
This is a paid position (at $20/hour). The Fellowship will require the fellows to be in the Los Angeles office four days a week, Monday- Thursday.
