Part-Time Intern
The Activist Artists Management Nashville, TN office is interviewing for a part-time intern position to begin Monday, June 2nd, 2025. Candidates should be currently enrolled with a college/university. This internship is for college credit. Working hours will vary per credit hours needed by the student. This internship runs until Friday, August 8th, 2025. Interns must be available for shifts scheduled on Mondays - Fridays between 9:30am - 6:00pm. Please see company overview below:

Internship Description:
We will provide opportunities for our interns to understand the tasks of a day-to-day manager, the role managers play among labels, agents, publishers, etc, the interaction between Artists and their managers, including, but not limited to: releasing an album, making and conceiving of music videos, Artist show coverage and why it’s important, how to connect Artists with different charities and activists that align with their beliefs, fan engagement, the importance of Artist/Activist interaction, industry terminology, and more.
Duties may include attending Artist events such as shows or other associated events, organizing and brainstorming Artist merchandise, sorting through Artist social media accounts, monitoring Artist mentions online, proofing press releases, liner notes, and newsletters, creating spreadsheets for both Artists and Activist, researching new strategies for fan engagement, and more. We will also be tasking interns with semester-long projects in an area of their interest, for example, album creation and release, publishing, routing, social media, public relations, or another area. Please note a computer and vehicle is required for this internship. Interns will be reimbursed for gas money at the end of the semester, based on how many miles you drive for work-related errands.
We hope that each intern leaves Activist with a deeper understanding as to whether or not this avenue is something they would like to pursue after graduation and the opportunity to create connections with a wide range of industry contacts.
