MS Transverse 2025 Human Resources Summer Intern

Not sure what kind of internship you should apply to? Looking for an outside of the box internship? Do you like to roll up your sleeves and get involved?

MS Transverse is looking for a Human Resources Intern in the form of research, data analysis and report writing.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone to learn multiple aspects of insurance and reinsurance in a startup environment, as well as learn the nuances of Human Resources and People Culture. 

Here is what to expect from this internship:

·       Gain an understanding of MS Transverse’s overall business plan and assist with business development plans/strategy

·       Update and evaluate trend information and other financials to present in weekly and monthly reporting

·       Work with the Chief People Officer, HRBP and Payroll Manager on headcount reporting, recruiting, and employee tracking. 

·       Act as the Intern Cohort's main contact to and for HR; develop intern events and manage them over the summer

·       Organize and collate the HR folder directory

·       Contribute to the production and analysis of people and reporting tools

·       Complete ad hoc reports and analysis as requested

·       Assist with record retention

·       Perform other duties as assigned

 

This is what you bring:

·       Junior or senior in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or Business Administration

·       Thorough understanding of how to work in a business/corporate environment

·       Experience in Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel

·       Accuracy and attention to detail

·       Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

·       Excellent analytical, organizational, planning and communication skills

·       Positive teamwork and interpersonal skills
