
INTERNSHIP (GRANT WRITER & FUNDRAISER, COMMUNICATIONS, WEB DESIGN, HUMAN RESOURCE, NONPROFIT,BUSINESS)
Empowering Community Outreach is offering remote internship opportunities for passionate individuals seeking volunteer experience or school credit. We are currently looking for interns in the following areas: Grant Writing & Fundraising, Communications, Web Design, Human Resources, Nonprofit Development, and Business Operations. This internship requires a minimum commitment of two months and is ideal for students or recent graduates with a background in business, nonprofit work, grant writing, or communications. Applicants must have access to a reliable internet connection and a personal computer or laptop. While most of the work can be completed remotely from anywhere in the world, we also offer optional in-office access located in Southfield, Michigan.
Interns will support various aspects of nonprofit growth and development. Responsibilities may include researching and writing grants, assisting with fundraising campaigns, creating and scheduling social media content, updating websites, supporting human resources and recruitment efforts, and contributing to business planning and outreach initiatives. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, organized, and passionate about serving the community. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines. Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva, or website platforms like Wix or WordPress is a plus, depending on the role.
This internship offers flexible scheduling, practical hands-on experience, resume-building opportunities, and a chance to make a meaningful impact. Interns may also receive school credit (if approved by their academic institution) and a letter of recommendation upon successful completion.
