Full Stack Developer (On-Site in York, PA)

Webflare is a small start-up software company based in York, PA, specializing in AI-powered solutions for the auction industry. We are rebuilding our flagship app, transitioning from a WordPress/PHP-based system to a modern stack using Laravel, React, and Inertia.js. We’re looking for a full-stack developer to work on-site and help develop and maintain this new platform.

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Laravel & React Developer with strong full-stack web development experience to join our team in York, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend in Laravel, integrating Inertia.js for server-side rendering, and building the frontend with React based on Figma designs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Laravel backend, including API endpoints, database architecture, and business logic.
  • Build and optimize the React frontend using Inertia.js, ensuring a seamless SPA-like experience.
  • Translate Figma designs into fully functional React components with attention to detail and UI/UX consistency.
  • Ensure high performance and scalability of the application.
  • Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL for data management.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and user roles.
  • Collaborate with other team members on feature development and UI/UX improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug application issues.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience with Laravel and React in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of Inertia.js, REST APIs, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience working with Figma designs to create responsive, pixel-perfect React components.
  • Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL database management.
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS and modern frontend development.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on-site in York, PA – remote applicants will NOT be considered.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with server deployment & DevOps.
  • Prior experience with AI or auction-related applications is a plus.
  • Experience with React Native & Expo for potential future mobile app development.
