Safety Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified Safety Manager to join our team in the Oil and Gas industry. As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Your main objective will be to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace, and to develop and implement safety programs that promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. You will be a key member of our team, working closely with our third-party safety consultant, management, and employees to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
• Experience in safety management in the Oil and Gas Extraction industry
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Knowledge conducting safety audits and inspections
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification
• Experience with safety management systems
• Experience in oilfield safety

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Develop and implement safety programs and policies that promote a culture of safety throughout the organization
• Provide safety training to employees and management on a regular basis
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions
• Collaborate with management and employees to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards

Skills:

As a Safety Manager, you will utilize your expertise in Accident Investigation, Occupational Health, Safety Management Systems, Safety Training, Site Safety, Safety Audits, Oilfield Safety, and Safety Programs to ensure the safety of our employees and maintain compliance with all safety regulations. You will work closely with management and employees to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards and develop and implement safety programs that promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in providing safety training to employees and management on a regular basis, and in investigating accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
