2025 Summer Internship - HR & Marketing Internship
Grow your expertise, skills, and experience through the KDM Engineering 2025 Internship Program. KDM is a growing, award-winning, minority- and woman-owned professional engineering firm focusing on electric, gas, site civil, and telecommunications engineering designs and support services.
KDM Engineering provides a one-of-a-kind, client-recognized training and mentorship program. We give our new recruits the opportunity to become effective and knowledgeable engineers at a much faster pace than our competitors. Interns will be exposed to multiple departments and projects through our hands-on learning approach.
What you will learn:
The HR & Marketing Internship at KDM Engineering offers students an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in talent management, employer branding, and corporate marketing strategies. Interns will work closely with HR and Marketing teams to support recruitment, employee engagement, branding, and digital marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for students looking to build skills in human resources, corporate communications, and marketing strategy while making a meaningful impact on business operations.
This internship is ideal for students who are interested in people-focused careers and want to gain insight into both talent management and corporate branding strategies.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Must be a Junior or Senior.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Interest in people-focused careers with a passion for HR, branding, or digital marketing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS, CRM, or marketing tools is a plus.
• Creativity, analytical thinking, and an eagerness to learn.
• Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
• Must be willing to comply with all pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, drug testing, reference verification, education and employment verification, and background screening.
• Valid Driver’s License

• Primary location: 550 W Jackson Blvd., FL11, Chicago, IL 60661
• Work Schedule: In-Person, Monday – Thursday, 9am – 5pm
• Salary Range: $16 - $21 per hour.
