Community-Led Marketing (Full Time)

The Role:

As Head of Community-Led Marketing, you will lead Lynkr’s strategy to empower and grow our user community, turning passionate users into brand advocates. You’ll design and execute programs that foster connection, create buzz, and scale our presence on campuses nationwide. This role is a blend of community-building, brand marketing, and growth strategy—perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of people and marketing.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Community Strategy: Build and execute a community-led marketing strategy to deepen engagement with existing users while expanding to new groups and campuses.
  • Grow & Manage Brand Ambassadors: Build and manage repeatable frameworks to support ambassador recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance tracking across multiple campuses. Empower student leaders to promote Lynkr through events, social media, and grassroots campaigns. Grow our creator/influencer programs into a ‘must-join’ program.
  • Event Marketing: Partner with student organizations to host unforgettable events that highlight Lynkr’s value and attract new users.
  • Content & Storytelling: Capture the energy of our community through user-generated content, event recaps, and student success stories that drive brand love.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage budgets for ambassador programs, event activations, and community initiatives while optimizing for impact and efficiency.
  • Community Insights: Gather feedback from students to inform product improvements, marketing campaigns, and new feature development.
  • Performance & Growth: Set goals, track KPIs, and analyze the impact of community-driven initiatives on user acquisition and retention.
  • Operationally-Minded Leader: You excel at creating and managing structured programs that scale across multiple locations while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Execution-Focused: You’re a hands-on operator who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done while managing multiple workstreams efficiently.
  • Community-Driven: You understand the value of fostering strong communities and can translate that understanding into practical, scalable marketing programs.
  • People Manager: You have experience leading and motivating distributed teams, including direct reports and external ambassadors.
  • Proven track record scaling/supporting a global community within a rapidly-growing company
  • Experience building and managing a multi-functional organizational with many cross-functional partners/stakeholders
  • Deep & nuanced understanding of creator economy and influencer marketing
  • Clear track record of success growing brand awareness
  • Strong understanding of B2C2B motions and community-led growth
