Who We Are
DMAX Foundation is an impact organization whose mission is to create connections and conversations that matter to strengthen mental health and emotional well-being for young people on college campuses.
We accomplish this through our signature program DMAX Clubs . The Clubs create an environment where students get together to talk about how they are doing, how their friends are doing, and how they can help each other.
Position Description
We are seeking a mission-oriented intern with a diligent work ethic, enthusiastic mindset and keen attention to detail to support DMAX Foundation and our mental health clubs on college campuses. Program interns assist with the development and expansion of the DMAX Club program.
Working with DMAX Foundation will give you an opportunity to learn about the operations of a nonprofit organization, work on special projects, and make a difference for other college students. Additionally, as part of our internship program, you will be given the opportunity to learn about various aspects of the nonprofit (fundraising, grant-writing, programming, marketing, event planning, etc. if you are interested.
You will grow your skills and get practical, hands-on business experience:
- Assist in maintaining and updating DMAX Club student leader manuals.
- Conduct outreach to recruit students, counseling centers, faculty and staff at colleges to start DMAX Clubs on college campuses.
- Engage student storytellers and guest speakers for events.
- Create, analyze and report on surveys and evaluations of DMAX Club programs
- Develop and design content for DMAX Club marketing materials
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Thorough and detail oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Canva
- Proficient Google and/or Microsoft Suites skills
Benefits
If your school allows it, this internship is available for college credit. Students may receive course credit for the internship. Students seeking this option should inquire with their academic advisor. Interns will receive a $500 stipend at the end of the semester.
Location
Virtual or Hybrid, Philadelphia area.
Time Frame - Flexible - 4 months, 8 months, 12 months
- Internships available for Spring, Summer and Fall semesters- open to continue up to full year
- 10 - 15 hours per week
- Flexible start and end dates year-round
