Customer Service Representative
Title: Customer Service Representative/Junior Sales Associate
Type: Entry-Level Part-Time with potential for Full-Time
Job Summary:
Quassy is looking for an ambitious and qualified individual to take on a fun administrative position in our offices. This is a detail-oriented job including, but not limited to, entry level sales experience, organization and filing of business documents, customer service outreaches and responses, as well as minor business and team coordination activities.
Responsibilities:
Guest Communication: This position will require extensive customer service. We received many inbound communications, inquiries, and leads each day. It is the responsibility of this associate to handle the following:
- Answering all customer questions regarding our facilities, schedule, offerings, and capabilities
- Aiding in facility rentals and group outings
- Recording and escalating customer complaints and compliments
- Providing accurate and concise information for all other customer inquiries
Sales: In-between inbound calls and emails, this position requires an organized and diligent person to follow leads with outbound sales calls for the following categories:
- Themed Days: Oktoberfest, Halloween, Dance Day, Scouts Day, Homeschool Day
- Catered Events: Clubs, Family Reunions, Organizations
- School and Community Groups
- Entry Level Corporate Sales
Administrative Organization:
- The documentation of customer communications and sales lead updates in our sales software
Summer Responsibilities:
- Aiding in all potential customer service positions
- Ticket Booth
- Parking
- Group Sales
- Administration Offices
- Beach/Water Park entrance
- Continuing sales work and filing when in Administration Offices
Work Schedule:
We are offering limited hours on weekday afternoons, scaling upward with the availability of increased hours as candidate develops into the role. As summer approaches and our schedule expands, the demands of the job will increase:
April 1st – May 1st:
- 25 hours a week (training period)
- Sales and Administrative Organization
May 1st – June 20th:
- 25 hours a week
- Sales and Administrative Organization
- Guest Interactions and Customer Service Positions while the park is open for business on Saturdays and Sundays
June 20th – August 30th:
- Summer Responsibilities
- 25 hours a week
- Full time hours potentially available depending on the candidate
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Able to learn and understand all policies and procedures pertinent to the department and park offerings
- Must have strong organization skills
- Must have a strong, consistent eye for detail-oriented work
- Must be able to communicate effectively in a professional manner with co-workers, supervisors, subordinates, vendors, and guests
- Able to handle minor complaints and suggestions from guests in a calm and professional manner or seek additional assistance from supervisor if necessary
- Able to make quick and effective decisions
- Able to follow verbal and written directions
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must be able to adopt new software platforms and demonstrate strong computer literacy
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Perform checklists faithfully and honestly according to procedure
- Able to write legibly to complete reports
