About the Role
As a Business Development Representative at Sound Advisory, you will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, supporting partnerships, and driving revenue expansion. You will work closely with leadership, sales teams, and external stakeholders to analyze market trends, develop go-to-market strategies, and support deal execution. Key Responsibilities
- Market & Competitive Research: Conduct industry analysis, market trend research, and competitor benchmarking to identify new business opportunities.
- Partnership Development: Support the identification, negotiation, and execution of strategic partnerships that drive business growth.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Assist in developing sales strategies, lead generation plans, and customer acquisition initiatives to expand revenue streams.
- Pipeline Management: Track and analyze business development activities, sales pipelines, and conversion metrics to optimize deal flow.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine value propositions, messaging, and outreach efforts.
- Financial & Business Analysis: Develop financial models, pricing strategies, and revenue forecasts to support business development initiatives.
- Proposal & Pitch Deck Creation: Prepare client presentations, investment decks, and partnership proposals to support business negotiations.
- Executive Reporting & Insights: Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders summarizing key findings and recommendations.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in business development, strategy, sales, investment banking, or consulting. Experience in startups or high-growth companies is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data interpretation, financial modeling, and market research.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop compelling sales and partnership materials.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with a high attention to detail.
- Interest in Excel, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and data visualization tools.
