AI & Computer Vision Engineering Intern

About the Role

 

As an AI & Computer Vision Engineering Intern, you’ll work closely with our AI researchers, UI/UX designers, and engineering team to develop advanced patient assessment systems using pose estimation and deep learning. You’ll be working with transformer-based architectures and deploying scalable AI solutions using AWS and CUDA-enabled GPUs, all while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

 

What You’ll Do

• Implement and optimize transformer-based models for pose estimation and patient assessment.

• Deploy AI models efficiently on AWS, leveraging cloud-based GPU instances with CUDA for high-performance computing.

• Work with PyTorch or TensorFlow to develop and fine-tune deep learning architectures.

• Integrate AI-driven insights into real-world healthcare applications, collaborating with the UI/UX team.

• Optimize inference pipelines to ensure scalability, low latency, and high accuracy.

• Maintain best practices for security, privacy, and HIPAA compliance in AI-driven healthcare applications.

 

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of deep learning and computer vision, with experience in transformer-based architectures.

• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, and familiarity with pose estimation techniques.

• Hands-on experience provisioning CUDA-enabled GPUs on AWS (e.g., EC2, SageMaker, Lambda, or Batch).

• Knowledge of cloud-based AI model deployment and optimization for scalability and performance.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for applying AI to real-world challenges.

• Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment, collaborating with AI engineers, designers, and healthcare experts.
