Mental Health Community Liaison
We're Hiring: Mental Health Community Liaison (Must reside in New Jersey)
Are you passionate about mental health advocacy and community engagement? We Rise Therapy and Wellness is looking for a Mental Health Community Liaison to support our mission of fostering mental wellness, particularly within South/East Asian 1st/2nd gen and immigrant communities.
🔹 Location: Remote- Must reside in New Jersey (with potential in-person opportunities)
🔹 Duration: 3-6 months with option for extention
🔹 Hours: 5-10 hours a week; stipend provided
🌿 About We Rise Therapy and Wellness
We are a mental health practice dedicated to providing culturally responsive therapy, groups, workshops and mental health education. Our goal is to break mental health stigmas and create spaces where individuals can heal and thrive.
💡 What You’ll Do:
✅ Assist in developing, outreaching and maintaining partnerships with community organizations, practices and businesses
✅ Support outreach efforts to expand mental health awareness and wellness initiatives in the community
✅ Research and compile resources on mental health trends and culturally responsive care to create workshops and presentations.
✅ Help coordinate events, workshops, and collaborative projects
✅ Contribute to social media and marketing efforts related to community engagement
✨ What We’re Looking For:
✔ Interest in mental health advocacy, community engagement, or public health
✔ Strong communication and organizational skills
✔ Public Relations Skills and Experience
✔ Ability to work independently and take initiative
✔ Experience with research, outreach, or event planning (a plus!)
✔ Students or early-career professionals in psychology, social work, public health, public relations or related fields
