Sales and Marketing Intern

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Sales and Marketing Intern to directly contribute to achieving our sales targets and goals.

Position Overview: 

As a Sales and Marketing Intern, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our sales department. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to our sales team and extending lines of communication through email and phone calls to potential customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a teamwork setting and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive sales initiatives and contribute to the growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential leads within target industries and market segments
• Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling, to generate new leads
• Qualify leads based on specific criteria and ensure a high level of accuracy in lead data
• Utilize in-house CRM software to track and manage lead generation activities
• Provide regular reports and updates on lead generation metrics and effectiveness
• Create and develop marketing materials to assist the sales team with sales.

Qualifications:

• Current student pursuing business, marketing, food science or other related major
• Eagerness to learn more about a unique, diverse, and essential global industry
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with prospects, customers, and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities
