Music Industry Intern

Hallwood Media is a music management company that offers a comprehensive internship program for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the music industry. The program is designed to provide interns with hands-on experience in a professional work environment and an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the field.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

During the internship program, interns will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks that are relevant to the music industry. These tasks may include:

  • Assisting with social media management and content creation
  • Researching and analyzing trends in the music industry
  • Helping with event planning and promotion
  • Assisting with artist management tasks, such as scheduling and logistics
  • Participating in creative brainstorming sessions
  • Learning about marketing and publicity strategies for music artists

 

Qualifications: 

  • Interested and passionate for all genres of music
  • Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills
  • Organized with an attention to detail
  • Must be a team player
  • Familiar with Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive apps.

Requirements:

Since this is an unpaid internship, all participants are required to receive academic credit through their school.

The Hallwood Media Internship Program complies with all applicable California state law and internship program requirements, including:

  • The internship must be for the benefit of the intern.
  • The intern must receive training that is similar to what would be given in an educational environment.
  • The internship must be primarily for the benefit of the intern, not the employer.
    The intern must not displace regular employees and must work under close supervision of existing staff.
  • The intern must not be entitled to a job at the conclusion of the internship.
  • The intern must be informed in writing that they will not receive any wages or benefits for the internship.
