Cost Estimator Intern

This is a great opportunity to gain experience assisting staff with preparing cost estimates for a variety of new construction, interior and exterior alterations, restorations, additions and repairs to existing structures under AOC’s jurisdiction.

Students in the role will also assist cost estimators with analyzing and compiling estimate data that impacts the cost of labor, materials, equipment and other factors to ensure an accurate estimate, as well as, evaluating and recommending construction methods and materials.

Students will also gain experience reviewing drawings, specifications and cost history and will confer with cost estimators for requirements to provide contract architects and engineers, managers and consultants project estimates/proposals.
