Marketing / eCommerce Assistant
Scout Limited, INC., is a leading national designer and importer of home décor products including soft goods, lighting and wall décor. We are currently seeking a Marketing / eCommerce Assistant in Goldsboro, North Carolina to support our rapidly growing eCommerce team.
Position Overview:
As the Marketing / eCommerce Specialist, you will be supporting our existing team managing our product catalog on various marketplace channels. This includes daily administrative tasks, responding to customer inquiries and feedback, managing promotional calendars, communicating with collaborating departments and much more.
The ability to multitask with keen attention to detail is a must, as you will be managing several concurrently running initiatives and maintaining a large product catalog on various digital channels. Analytical skills and creative thinking are also essential in maintaining daily reporting and assisting in developing strategies to improve processes to achieve industry leading results. Our marketing and eCommerce department is a highly collaborative environment where we encourage all employees to share ideas and put them into action.
What you’ll be doing:
- Optimizing and growing marketplace listings to increase conversions
- Manage weekly POS and Sales Reports for marketplaces
- Respond to customer questions and concerns with speed, accuracy and professionalism (via email and chat portal)
- Assisting with planning and creating e-mail and social media marketing campaigns
- Respond to marketplace account inquiries relating to products, listings and inventory
- Manage promotional calendar as directed by management
- Cross-check, confirm and correct product specs and attributes as needed
- Assist in growing and managing social media accounts for brands (on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest). Tasks could include content curation, creating graphics, editing photos, copywriting and scheduling posts.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree with concentration in a business-related discipline preferred
- 1-2 years’ hands on experience in an eCommerce environment is required (Multi-Channel experience preferred)
- Recent experience with eCommerce Marketplace Channels such as Amazon (Seller Central preferred), Wayfair, eBay, Home Depot and Overstock
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Particularly Excel, fluent with formulas and pivot tables is preferred)
- Understanding and experience in Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, and Canva.
- Possess a strong understanding of search engine optimization
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
- Superior organizational skills, ability to manage several concurrently running programs and initiatives
- Proven experience in handling high volume requests and a large product catalog
