Role Summary
The Media Production Coordinator will help us connect with our fans by creating lifelong memories. The role will serve as the on-site lead for control room operations, staffing scheduling, content loading, equipment troubleshooting, and other related control room responsibilities for Toledo Mud Hens Baseball, Toledo Walleye Hockey games, and special events. Essential Responsibilities
- Key contact and onsite for broadcast and gameday Production for Mud Hens, Walleye, Hensville, and special events.
- Communicate with contingent staff to track availability and create monthly staffing schedule for in-house and broadcast operations ensuring all needs are fulfilled, while tracking schedule changes and communicating any potential need for crew discipline.
- Reviews timecards for accuracy and first level approval.
- Assists in training of new employees on various in-house and broadcast equipment as needed.
- Responsible for uploading and executing all digital/audio content for all home games and special events for in-house and broadcast.
- Performs tasks each week as part of organizing the overall production list for home games and special events ensuring uploads of assets stay on track, all content is reviewed and delivered properly.
- Coordinate with play-by-play broadcaster for any production elements needed for broadcast and ensure timely completion.
- Represent the department at meetings with staff and outside personnel in a professional manner.
- Create and provide highlight video packages for external Television media, MiLB, ECHL and other media and the Huntington Center.
- Provide technical support during Mud Hens and Walleye games, Special Events.
- Oversees the online streaming of games through Milb.tv, Bally Live and Flo Sports.
- Serves as a liaison to event operations, group sales, and corporate sales for any production needs on non-game days.
- Ensues proper asset archiving and retention of other media resources.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud with emphasis on After Effects (preferred), Premiere and Photoshop.
- Production experience with in-house and broadcast equipment is required and work with DSLR cameras is preferred.
- Preferred experience with Daktronics software and hardware or other Gameday Control Systems.
- A working knowledge of the game and history of professional baseball and hockey is recommended.

- Applicant must possess effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, excellent organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Familiarity with various social media platforms and their respective delivery formats.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast faced, ever changing environment and industry.

Working Environment/Physical Requirements
- Frequently standing/walking/climbing stairs in the facilities during game days.
- Occasionally lifting equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching in order to execute gameday graphics and video.
- Constantly communicating with team members in order to execute gameday graphics and videos, must be able to accurately exchange information.
- Occasionally will be outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Applicant must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays on a flexible schedule.
