Job description
**Remote Internship**
Camp Words Unspoken (CWU) is looking to fill a marketing/fundraising intern position. Camp Words Unspoken is a national non-profit organization based in Massachusetts. The marketing & fundraising intern will play a key role in helping CWU secure the funding and raise awareness necessary in supporting kids and teens who stutter. This individual willbe working closely with our executive board to help execute fundraising campaigns, promote the camp’s mission, and engage donors, supporters, and the stuttering community.
As a marketing/fundraising intern you will have the following responsibilities:
- Helping expand our social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Developing social media posts about camper registration, camp updates, fundraising events, and stuttering awareness.
- Working closely with the camp founder and executive team to develop new marketing/fundraising initiatives
- Compiling and tracking fundraising information in an excel spreadsheet.
- Reaching out to 3rd party vendors to organize and promote fundraising campaigns
- Developing marketing content utilizing software packages such as Canva, MailChimp, etc.
Training will be provided before the start of the internship.
Position details:
- 5 hours a week
- Internship can be completed remotely
- Flexible internship schedule
- Receive class credits per your university
- $300 semester stipend
