Intellectual Point, a leader in educational training and workforce development, is seeking a Video Content Creator and Host to produce compelling short videos for social media platforms that enhance our brand, drive engagement, and improve SEO.

A video content creator and host is responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and presenting engaging video content across various digital platforms, including writing scripts, interviewing guests, and delivering on-camera presentations to connect with the audience, often optimizing content for specific platforms and analytics to measure performance.

At Intellectual Point, we specialize in training pathways for Cybersecurity, AI/ML, GenAI, Cloud Computing, Network/System Administration, Help Desk, and more. With our state-of-the-art film studio, dedicated video editors, and publishing team, you'll have the resources and support to create videos that inspire learners and promote our cutting-edge educational programs.

Job Responsibilities

Your main job duties will be centered around creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and any other platforms that require content on mobile devices. You’ll be expected to create content in a variety of styles, including commercial, informative, documentary, and of course: memes. A knowledge of constantly changing trends, and the ability to infuse humor and entertainment and fun in the videos, that make the viewers go “woah” is key. You should be comfortable appearing on camera for our clients. In addition, you’ll be responsible for coordinating influencers to create video content for us, as well as reporting and optimizing your campaigns.

Short Form Content Creation (60%)

•Create engaging, camera-ready content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging social platforms, aligned with trending topics and best practices.

•Develop a variety of video styles, including educational, promotional, informative, and meme-style content.

•Collaborate with our social media and marketing teams to brainstorm and execute creative content ideas.

•Use video editing tools (or work with in-house editors) to refine and produce polished videos quickly and efficiently.

•Leverage our in-house Creative Studio to maintain an inventory of props and tools for immediate content production.

•Monitor all social media channels for video platform trends and provide tactical and strategic recommendations.

•Optimize, analyze and report on video performance and ROI across all social media channels.

•Quickly develop on-the-fly, branded content for clients based off what’s trending today.

•Develop bigger ideas for very small screens by planning more elaborate content for high-value clients that truly wows their audience.

•Delivering engaging presentations with clear articulation, maintaining eye contact, and showcasing personality to connect with viewers.

•Platform optimization: Adapting content format and length to suit different platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook, considering audience demographics and engagement metrics.

•Post-production and distribution: Uploading videos to relevant platforms, creating engaging thumbnails, writing descriptions, and promoting content across social media channels.

•Analytics and reporting: Monitoring video performance metrics like views, watch time, engagement, and using insights to refine future content strategies.

SEO and Engagement (15%)

•Ensure videos are optimized for SEO with relevant keywords, titles, and descriptions.

•Research and experiment with platform algorithms to maximize audience engagement and reach.

Audience Growth and Community Building (15%)

•Work closely with marketing to build and engage with our online community.

•Represent Intellectual Point authentically in all video content, inspiring trust and connection with viewers.

Always Innovating (10%)

•Stay ahead of social media trends and adapt content strategies to fit emerging platforms and tools.

•Take the initiative to suggest new formats, ideas, and production techniques to elevate our video content.

•Proven experience in video hosting, content creation, or a similar role.

•Exceptional on-camera presence with the ability to connect and engage with diverse audiences.

•The ideal candidate has extensive video editing and production experience, inclusive of on-camera and voiceover work.

•Strong understanding of short-form video trends, platforms, and audience preferences.

•Ability to research new topics in Cyber Security, AI/ML, GenAI, Cloud Computing etc. and bring new innovative ideas in video content for audience engagement.

•Passion for education, technology, and workforce development.

•Highly creative, adaptable, and organized, with a keen eye for detail.

•Strong communication and presentation skills

•Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team

•Serve as a spokesperson for Intellectual Point by appearing on camera in various YouTube series and/or providing voiceovers.
