Social Media & Event Marketing Intern
City Tap House – Seaport District, Boston

City Tap House in the Seaport is seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our team! If you’re looking to gain hands-on experience in the Hospitality Industry while working closely with our Sales and Marketing Director, this is the opportunity for you. You will help promote and expand our social media platforms, design marketing materials, and assist in the coordination of events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and managing content for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Director on promotional campaigns and strategies
  • Design menus, flyers, and promotional materials
  • Build relationships with local businesses and community members
  • Correspond with event hosts and help coordinate private events
  • Decorate the restaurant for events and assist in set-up and execution
  • Brainstorm innovative event concepts and marketing strategies

Qualifications:

  • High energy and a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong creativity and a passion for new ideas
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Interest in Event Management, Marketing, PR, or related creative fields
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Graphic design experience is a plus
