Nifco is a leading global automotive supplier specializing in plastic fasteners, brackets, and kinematic components. Nifco America supplies to all major automakers that sell cars in the US, as well as dozens of automotive tier suppliers. The Marketing department collaborates closely with cross-functional teams in Design, Sales, and Human Resources.
Job Summary
Nifco America is looking for an energetic, self-starter marketer. This individual will have their hands in all aspects of marketing with a strong focus on Internal and external communication. The Marketing and Communications position will develop and maintain effective, consistent and timely communication and support the coordination and distribution of much of the company’s communication with a focus on multi-media content (video, digital, social, etc) This position specializes in providing comprehensive and essential communication that helps Nifco team members sell products, enhance Nifco’s image to the public, and improve company morale.
Essential Functions:
- Create product pitch documents and media that align with Design and Sales goals.
- Assist Design and Sales with customer-facing documentation and marketing strategy.
- Create, maintain, and update website(s) on Wordpress platform.
- Develop, create, and monitor content for social media.
- Draft press releases and media alerts as requested
- Analyze reporting software and improve reach, awareness, engagement, and SEO of the website and social media.
- Photograph, video, and write copy for social and website use.
- Maintain internal digital asset management
- Support and represent Nifco at community outreach events and public relations
- Assist all departments with strategies that might improve workflow or solve problems with the use of marketing tactics.
- Research and brainstorm products, methods, and strategies that would develop the business and increase market share.
- Support Internal branding and communication by improving physical facility based on executive board direction
- Write, copy, and render products of new designs or product groups.
- Assist in relaying technical knowledge from the design group to the sales team and customers.
- Have in-depth technical knowledge of R&D projects across the company and relay that information to relevant parties.
- Create and maintain all documentation of the logo and work within brand guidelines.
· Highlight associate and company achievements to relevant parties
· Support production plants via local and on-site activity.

Education:
· Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Communications, marketing, or equivalent degree.
Experience/Skills:
· Sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing an undergraduate in Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing, or related field
· Exceptional writing and editing skills, including the ability to write for a variety of audiences and communications media
· Experience with social media ads manager, marketing, website design, and asset management is a plus
· Adobe Suite experience is a preferred
· Extremely organized and demonstrated project management skills.
· Strong time management skills.
· Excellent attention to detail.

· Excellent interpersonal skills in both oral and written communication
· Ability to multitask effectively.
