Human Resources Coordinator

Human Resources Coordinator

H2M architects + engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm, seeks an HR Coordinator to provide direct support to the HR team. The HR Coordinator is a vital role to ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the corporate HR Department and will be responsible for executing a variety of HR-related transactions with a specific focus on various aspects of the recruitment process. 

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Coordinate various recruitment efforts: review resumes, conduct initial screenings and interviews, schedule interviews between applicants and team members, send/follow-up with email confirmations, and perform overall duties to ensure a positive and welcoming interview experience.
  • Responds timely and accurately to employee’s requests and/or routes requests to appropriate resource. 
  • Assists with the process and review of documents relating to human resources activities such as new-hire onboarding, change-of-status, termination of employment, etc. 
  • Maintains employee records for completeness and accuracy. Inputs and validates employment and personal data into the HRIS (Dayforce), as required  
  • Assists employees with verifications of employment, and basic benefit and policy questions. 
  • Provide support for new hire orientations, new hire paperwork administration, employee surveys, acquisitions, and other HR-related initiatives.  
  • Provide administrative support to HR employee engagement programs, outreach programs, employee events and other initiatives. 
  • Assist with various HR projects, reports, compliance requests and analytics. 
  • Identifies opportunities for best practices and process improvement. 
  • Maintain understanding and knowledge of general legal landscape relating to HR and H2M’s policies and procedures.
  • Maintain highest level of confidentiality and demonstrates a strong ethical commitment to the Human Resources profession at all times.
  • Promote high level of professional standards and positive attitude, follow through on all projects assigned, positive interpersonal relations, and a problem-solving approach in all situations.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, HR Management or related degree highly desirable.
  • 1-3 years of HR or related experience, preferably within the service industry or engineering field.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shift priorities based on business needs or requests.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and handle difficult workplace situations in a calm and discreet manner.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail; strong follow-up skills a must.
  • Excellent record keeping habits with a keen eye for data inconsistencies. 

The salary range for this role is $58,500 - $70,000 annually.
