What We’re Looking For:

The Innovations Waiver Regional Manager plays a critical leadership role in managing a team of professionals who deliver specialized support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) or traumatic brain injury (TBI) within a managed care framework. This position ensures the team adheres to industry standards, evidence-based practices, and best practices to provide high quality care to members. 

On a typical day, you might:

  • Provide direct supervision and clinical oversight. 
  • Ensure staff utilize workflows as required to complete Care Management Comprehensive Assessment and care plans. 
  • Monitor teams to help ensure integration of care. 
  • Utilize and review reports to monitor team members productivity.           
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders. 
  • Ensure documentation is timely, accurate, complete.

Qualifications: 

Education: High School/GED, Associate degree, Bachelor degree

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one (1) year of experience providing care management, case management, or care coordination to complex individuals with I/DD or TBI. OR 
  • Associate’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience providing care management, case management, or care coordination to complex individuals with I/DD or TBI. OR 
  • High School Diploma/GED and five (5) years’ experience providing care management, case management, or care coordination to complex individuals with I/DD or TBI. OR 
  • Equivalent combination of education/experience.

Preferred Experience: Supervision of two (2) or more employees preferred. Prefer experience focused on working with Innovations in the mental health, substance use, and/or intellectual/developmental disability and TBI populations.

License/Certification: N/A

Must have a valid driver’s license

Must reside in North Carolina to be considered for remote status
