About:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Communications & Marketing Intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited tp:
- Event planning and coordinated media outreach
- Drafting press materials
- Social media outreach
- Community outreach
- Administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Candidates must have strong written and verbal communications skills
- Must be highly organized with the ability to multitask and must have a desire for a career in the communications industry
- College juniors, seniors and recent graduates specializing in communications, public relations, marketing or journalism preferred
- Candidates must be currently based in California and be available to meet in-person with the CEO at least once a week
- Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
