Job Description
The Software Architect will serve as a leadership role on the software development team. They will communicate with stakeholders and track each aspect of an application to make sure their team is producing the appropriate infrastructure to host a functioning software application. They will implement tests, identify bugs, and correct lines of code to ensure the software program works correctly, tracking major changes and patches.

Location
In-person in Las Vegas, NV, 89103: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required). Out-of-state US-based candidates are encouraged to apply, and relocation assistance is available.
Responsibilities
- Define and design the software architecture for projects, including selecting appropriate technologies, frameworks, and patterns.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their needs and requirements.
- Ensure that the software system is scalable, maintainable, and secure.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to software development teams.
- Evaluate and select third-party tools and libraries.
- Create and maintain documentation for software architecture.
- Identify and address any technical risks or challenges.
- Ensure that the software architecture adheres to industry best practices and standards.
Skills / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience as a software architect or senior developer.
- Experience in the payments industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
- Broad understanding of coding and programming languages.
- Experience in software development and coding in various languages (C#, .NET, Java etc.).
- Experience with database design and data modeling.
- Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design.
- Expertise with content management systems.
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
- 4+ years of extensive experience in software development, including hands-on experience with various programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps.
- Proficient knowledge of the operation and development designs of agile software.
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail
- High-quality organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
