The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on a Sales Support Intern to support our Retirement business during our 2025 summer cohort.
This internship will provide an excellent opportunity to gain real world experience in retirement sales and support. In this role, you may perform a variety of support activities for our internal teams such as retirement consultants, relationship managers and the overall sales support team. You will be focused on client engagement and networking while building strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will also participate in a project outside of the day to day support you provide the team.
What we’re looking for
Must-have (Required):
- College rising junior or senior
- Must have availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between the dates of June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025
- Exceptional communication skills
- Effective networking skills
- Ability to deal with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Nice-to-have (Preferred):
- Demonstrates solid relationship management skills with internal and/or external clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, customers, etc.)
- Sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

The pay range for this position is $20-23/hour with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
