Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Web Development Intern to join our team! This internship offers hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of web development, giving you the chance to build, maintain, and enhance our digital platforms. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our websites and online tools are visually appealing, easy to navigate, highly optimized, and aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development & Maintenance:

• Assist in building, updating, and customizing WordPress sites and related plugins.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure a high-quality user experience across devices.
• Troubleshoot and fix front-end and back-end issues.

Performance Optimization:

• Conduct routine performance audits of websites and landing pages to improve load times, SEO, and conversion rates.
• Implement best practices in code optimization, caching, and image compression.

Content Integration & Management:

• Update site content, pages, and product listings using WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure web content aligns with brand guidelines and is displayed seamlessly.

UI/UX Enhancements:

• Work with designers and stakeholders to improve site layout, navigation, and overall user experience.
• Gather user feedback and apply UI/UX principles to enhance site usability.

Technical Support & Collaboration:

• Provide support for web-related inquiries, bug fixes, and updates.
• Collaborate with the team on technical roadmaps, new feature development, and platform enhancements.

Reporting & Analytics:

• Use analytics tools to monitor website traffic, performance metrics, and user engagement.
• Prepare regular reports and suggest improvements based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with WordPress development, including themes and plugins.
• Understanding of website optimization techniques (SEO best practices, image compression, caching strategies).

Problem-Solving:

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and debug code.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Communication:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Initiative & Creativity:

• A proactive thinker who can propose new ideas and solutions to improve web functionality and user experience.
