Position Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and motivated individual to join our team as a Social Media Marketing & Park Operations Assistant. This dual-role position combines creativity and operational support, requiring a balance of social media expertise and hands-on assistance with park maintenance and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Marketing
- Develop and execute engaging social media strategies to promote tournaments, events, and the Ballparks National brand.
- Create, schedule, and manage content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
- Monitor social media analytics to track engagement, growth, and ROI; adjust strategies as needed.
- Respond to messages, comments, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the team to capture live content during tournaments and events.
- Stay updated on social media trends and integrate them into the overall marketing strategy.
Park Operations Support
- Assist the General Manager (GM) and Assistant General Manager (AGM) with the upkeep and maintenance of the park, including fields, facilities, and common areas.
- Perform routine checks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness of the park for events.
- Provide support during tournaments and events, including setup, teardown, and guest assistance.
- Address any operational issues promptly to maintain a seamless experience for visitors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media marketing, preferably in a sports or events-related environment.
- Familiarity with social media tools such as Hootsuite, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to perform hands-on tasks related to park maintenance and operations.
- Availability to work weekends during the "in-season" period (March to early November).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for sports and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
