Job Overview:

We are looking for a Web Designer to create and maintain the website for our medical practice on a platform like SquareSpace. The ideal candidate will have experience designing professional, user-friendly websites, ensuring they meet both the functional needs of our patients and regulatory requirements for healthcare websites.

Responsibilities:

Website Design and Development:

  • Design and build a clean, professional website for our medical practice that aligns with our brand. Will need to embed a button for the patient portal (on a third party system) and a button to request an appointment (on a third party system). There might be a home page, services page, team member page, and maybe another page.
  • Ensure the website is user-friendly and accessible for patients of all ages.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, clear, and easy to understand for visitors.

SEO and Performance Optimization:

  • Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.
  • Optimize website for fast load times and mobile responsiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and developing websites (preferably for medical or healthcare practices).
  • Proficiency in web design tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and website performance optimization.
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and security standards for healthcare websites.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to create user-friendly, visually appealing websites.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and other marketing platforms is a plus.
