Football Video Associate

JOB TITLE: Football Video Associate

SUMMARY: The Minnesota Vikings are seeking a Football Video Associate to assist in all aspects of the football video department. This will include camera operation during practices & games, video editing, and setting up Audio/Visual equipment. You will help in providing the coaches and players with video for analysis and scouting; This position will be required to work most weekends and may include travel with the team. The hours will range from 30-55 hours per week depending on the time of season. This is not a broadcast/production video position. 

In addition to the duties described above, the Football Video Associate will take part in the Vikings’ exclusive Leadership Development Program. This program will provide regular opportunities for professional development and growth in order to boost the Associate’s skillset and enhance their resume for future leadership opportunities. A fundamental part of the program will include clearly defined goals between the Associate and their Supervisor that will be tracked and measured for progress throughout the term of employment. 

 

This is a temporary full-time position that will begin on June 2, 2025 and conclude on May 22, 2026, unless otherwise determined. 

 

This position will be required to work most weekends and may include travel with the team. The hours will range from 30-55 hours per week depending on the time of season. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:  

  • Recording games, practices, and workouts
  • Import and organize NFL TV Games
  • Audio/Visual setup of meeting rooms and team hotel
  • Assist with printers and Surface tablets on game day
  • Log player participation for practice video along with other requests from football personnel

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Previous working experience in a college or professional sports video department
  • A strong knowledge of the game of football
  • Experience with Catapult or DV Sport video editing systems
  • Experience with 8K MastRcam or other PTZ cameras is preferred
  • Ability to lift, move, and pull equipment cases in excess of 40lbs
