Join Us as a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) Experience Designer!

Our Design Experience Lab is crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences across digital and physical environments to deliver valuable solutions. If you’re passionate about delightful user experiences that solve real problems, this role is your perfect playground! 🎨🚀

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Explore emerging transportation technologies such as autonomy, electrification, IoT, and software-defined vehicles
• Work cross-functionally with designers and engineers across International using design-thinking methodologies.
• Wireframe and storyboard narratives and user journeys
• Rapidly ideate and create concepts across digital and physical mediums
• Build and craft experiences in various demonstrable levels of fidelity
• Support software and hardware tech-stack definition to enable desired experience
• Iterate frequently and often, work well with ambiguity
• Be comfortable in a constructive critique-based environment
• Support user testing and data collection using pre-determined protocols
• Work with team to synthesize research to translate pain points into insights, user needs, and opportunity spaces.
• Advocate for our users’ needs & prioritize the safety and well-being of our customers
• Present and demonstrate to executives and larger groups

SKILLS

• Digital, graphical & brainstorm tools
• Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects etc)
  • Figma, InVision, Sketch (or Similar)
  • Mural, Miro, Bluescape (or Similar)
• Digital and Physical Prototyping
  • Protopie (or similar)
  • Arduino, ESP32, Rasp Pi, QTPy (or similar)
  • 3D Printing and CAD modeling
  • Bonus: Javascript, Unity, Unreal (or similar)
• Apply Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design
• Be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

The following Bachelor's Degrees are recommended but not required: EE Engineering, Software Engineering or UX /UI design with technology focus.
