Digital Marketing Intern (Spring 2025)

Collecto is a luxury wedding registry and homeware retailer inspiring others to bring distinctiveness to the table and home. We are seeking a driven and passionate individual to support our fast-paced digital marketing and merchandising activities. This includes social content strategy, media management, content creation, and digital promotion of merchandise, including uploading new vendors to the website and corresponding supporting material to effectively showcase our high end products. As an integral part of the team, you will work with the founder and marketing/merchandising team, and learn about many aspects of the online luxury retail world. 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Ideal candidates are fast learners and thrive in a, mainly digital, entrepreneurial environment
  • Has to be passionate about interior design, tableware, and beautiful tablescape experiences
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and a flair for creative visual storytelling
  • Excellent written communication skills; capable of adopting brand voice. 
  • Demonstrated Graphic Design experience; capable of adopting branding guidelines, and contribute to Collecto's aesthetic architecture.
  • Resourceful—ability to find creative solutions to different challenges
  • Flexible and excited to learn new skills
  • Deep curiosity for social media platforms and the luxury market
  • Experience with Shopify is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing and preparing social media content calendar, primarily targeting Instagram and Pinterest, along with creating additional digital content such as newsletters, blog posts, and homepage updates to ensure our online presence is visually appealing and aligned with our brand.
  • Help manage our social media channels by creating engaging & creative content that inspires our audience to enhance their table settings and home decor. This includes, but is not limited to, graphic design, visual aesthetics, image curation, and captions that effectively tell a story.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to upload new and exciting tableware, dinnerware, and home accessory brands to our website
  • Assist with pricing updates to ensure the website is accurately priced
  • Learning about the intricacies of online luxury retail from creative and operative perspectives.

Remote -- the student will be able to work remotely and manage their own schedule. We will have weekly touch base meetings as a team.
