Cybersecurity Engineering Consultant (Level I)

 

📍 Concord, MA (Hybrid) | 💼 Full-Time | 💸 $50K–$70K/year

🚀 What You’ll Do:

We’ll train you to take on exciting projects like:

  • Running vulnerability assessments and pen tests to keep systems safe.
  • Breaking down security logs and alerts (because every detail matters).
  • Writing policies that keep our data locked up tighter than a bank vault.
  • Installing next-level security tech like firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.
  • Reviewing cloud providers to make sure they meet the best security standards.
  • Working with developers to bake security into every step of the process (SDLC pro, anyone?).
  • Staying ahead of the game by researching the latest threats and trends.
  • Helping less experienced teammates level up their skills.

 

🎓 What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a STEM-related field.
  • Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are big wins).
  • Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, encryption, and IAM.
  • Basic understanding of secure coding practices (bonus points for SDLC experience).
  • Knowledge of standards like NIST, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS.
  • Certifications? CCSP, CISSP, or CEH are a plus, but not required.
