Chief Housing Officer (CHO)
Chief Housing Officer (CHO) (ABQ-FT). We are seeking a highly energized, results-oriented leader, fully engaged and get it done executive. The CHO is someone with extensive experience in the homeless and housing nonprofit industry. They must be highly organized, an effective planner with a strong track record of implementation and oversight. Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. It requires exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to oversee a diverse workforce; while providing leadership to directors, staff, volunteers, and agency staff on a whole; solicit feedback, and analyze the effectiveness of the entire housing team.
Qualifications required: BA/BS in Social, Behavioral, or Health Sciences and/or relevant experience in related field AND with a minimum of four years of progressively responsible management roles, preferably in the area of housing. Bilingual in English/Spanish and multicultural experience is preferred. Minimum of 4 years’ direct experience in a non-profit agency or similar entity including budget management, development and implementation. Minimum of 4 years supervisory experience. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in federal grant management. Advance level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and database experience. Strong management, administrative, organizational, interpersonal, verbal communication, and writing and presentation skills.
Compensation/Benefits: Pay range: $80,000 to $86,000 annually, DOE. Catholic Charities provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K plan, and PTO benefits and 50% daycare discount at the Children’s Learning Center (depending on availability).
