ALSAC’s Internship Program offers an immersive experience where interns dive into our culture, contribute to organizational goals through meaningful projects, and build relationships with team members and senior leadership. Over the course of 10 weeks, interns are paired with a day-to-day manager and given significant assignments, gaining a true understanding of what it means to be part of ALSAC/St. Jude. ALSAC Summer Intern Innovation Project: Throughout the internship, interns will connect with innovators across ALSAC, learning the art of Design Thinking. Working in teams, they will engage in creative sessions and prepare to present their projects to ALSAC’s CEO and Executive Leadership Team.
Program Details
Start Date: June 2, 2025
End Date: August 8, 2025
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Work Location: 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105

Requirements
A passion for our mission!
Must be undergraduate, graduate, or graduation as of Spring 2025.
Comfortable with Zoom and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Active participation in the Summer Intern Innovation Project through cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Specific Internship Description and Preferred Skills:
ALSAC’s IT Division manages applications and technology to support St. Jude donors and fundraising efforts. This role on the Program Operations team interacts with engineers, analysts, and leaders across diverse software solutions in BI, contact management, transaction systems, infrastructure, event management, and more. Learn more about IT, Divisional Program Operations, and Disaster and Incident Management efforts.
Works with Advisor for Oversight Operations and partners across the division to continuously improve, find cost savings, and reduce risk in our ITDR and Governance Programs.
Gain experience in the disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk management spaces by working to identify improvements to key aspects of the program.
Collaborate in the execution and reporting of ITDR/Disaster tabletop exercises.
Contribute to the development of Toolkits and procedures across multiple programs while learning established best practices for technical and procedural writing.
Majors preferred: Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Interdisciplinary majors that include technology component
Skills preferred: Strong Communication, Self-Starter with ability to prioritize tasks, Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams, Detail Oriented, Curious with enthusiasm for learning new technology
