ADRC (Aging & Disability Resource Center) Manager
Oneida County is accepting applications to fill a full-time ADRC (Aging and Disability Resource Center) Manager position with the ADRC, a department of the newly created Oneida County Human Service Department. Oneida County Human Service is a Trauma Informed Agency that empowers, educates and supports agency staff to provide services in a caring, compassionate and safe environment. Work involves determination of client needs, provisions of appropriate services, and referral of clients to other resources and programs as needed.
JOB DUTIES: This position is responsible for administration of various ADRC programs and supervision of staff working within these programs. Position ensures compliance with the Older American Act regulations and WI Bureau of Aging and Disability Resources directives. Also provides positive communication and leadership skills for networking with professionals, organizations and the public.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified individuals must have a four-year degree, preferably in Social Work, Sociology, Gerontology, Nursing or related field; previous experience working with older adults and adults with disabilities is required; experience working in a WI County Aging Unit or ADRC is desirable. Must have a valid WI Driver’s license and good computer knowledge. The ideal candidate will have good listening skills have the ability to establish and build rapport, and be able to deal tactfully with difficult situations.
WAGES AND BENEFITS: Starting 2025 annual salary for this position is $74,638 plus excellent benefit package, including Wisconsin Retirement benefits, affordable health insurance and a PTO (Paid Time Off) package with the ability to carry unused PTO into future years.
WORK HOURS AND SCHEDULE: Position generally works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an unpaid half-hour lunch. At times position may require some evening and weekend hours.
