Support Services Representative

Position Description
BluCurrent is seeking a full-time Support Services Representative. This position will perform account transactions primarily by phone, as well as email, fax, and mobile app, online messaging, video chat, in person and mail. Transactions include, but are not limited to certificates of deposit, money markets, checks, fraud claims, online and mobile banking, bill pay, check orders, and ATM and debit card management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Processing member transactions by phone.
  • Following proper phone identification procedures.
  • Debit and credit card applications and ordering.
  • Debit and credit card fraud services.
  • Process NSF negotiable items.
  • Monitor deceased member accounts for compliance and proper updating/closure.
  • IRA essential functions including transfers, withdrawals, deposits, and rollovers.
  • Perform audit of loan files to ensure quality and compliance.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • At least two years of customer service experience required.
  • Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for servicing Credit Union members and projecting a positive image as representative for the Credit Union.
  • Work requires sound decision-making skills with regard to carrying out specific rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Intermediate equipment skills required (telephone, fax machine, copy equipment, use of computer, system software, internet, electronic mail, spreadsheets, data processing, etc.)
Compensation
This is an hourly position that has a starting rate of $15.00 per hour.
