Role: College Life Coordinator

Games for Love is on the lookout for talented and passionate individuals in the new field of College Life Marketing. As a College Life Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our collaborative team, working closely with fellow committee members, the Games For Love Marketing Director, and CEO. This program will provide members the opportunity to engage in two specific categories: Outreach and Fundraising.

Responsibilities:

Outreach:

  • Work closely with student organizations including Fraternities and Sororities, Political Clubs, Theater Groups, as well as Alumni, Sporting and Religious, Spiritual and Cultural groups active on college campuses nationwide.
  • Enlist these groups to partner with Games For Love on a recurring basis.
  • Coordinate with leadership and develop relationships which will lead to ongoing partnerships with our charity.

Create and Organize Fundraising on College Campuses:

  • Develop innovative and engaging Fundraising drives helping organized college groups to fulfill community service requirements. 
  • Assist in marketing events on campus to ensure fundraising success. 
  • Ensure that fundraising events are documented (video, photos and stories) 

Minimum Qualification:

Educational Background:

  • Pursuing or completing at least 1 year in a relevant degree related to Political Science, Marketing,  Communications or other related fields.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to organize and communicate with large groups. Ability to document and track all interaction with college groups.

Experience:

  • Familiarity with social groups on campus. Passion to work for a Children’s charity. Familiarity with the world of gaming and streaming. Applicants who are currently involved in college life groups are preferred.

Communication:

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey the Games For Love mission and collaborate with team members, leadership, and college administrations.

Commitment:

  • A commitment to work 5 hours a week for 2 school quarters. You will be expected to present progress reports at weekly update meetings.
