Pathway to Tomorrow, a leading NGO at the forefront of housing security, environmental conservation, and water access, is seeking a highly motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity for top-tier students to gain hands-on experience in digital storytelling, content creation, and social impact marketing while working with an organization dedicated to transforming lives.

This internship is tailored for creative and organized self-starters with exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset. As our Social Media Intern, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and managing engaging content across platforms, driving awareness of our mission, and analyzing performance to ensure maximum impact. If you’re ready to combine your social media expertise with a passion for global change, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

• Create & Curate Engaging Content
  • Design and schedule impactful posts (infographics, videos, images, and written content) for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Craft content that is educational, inspiring, and reflective of our program areas: housing, conservation, and water security.
  • Monitor online trends to incorporate fresh, relevant ideas into campaigns.
• Plan & Optimize Social Media Strategy
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a dynamic social media calendar aligned with organizational goals.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to refine content strategies and boost engagement.
  • Identify and engage with online communities to amplify our reach.
• Collaborate & Innovate
  • Work closely with team members to ensure consistent messaging and creative alignment.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and brainstorm innovative social media campaigns.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university, with eligibility to receive academic credit for this internship.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools.
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Personal Qualities:
  • A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for social impact and a deep alignment with our mission.

Additional Details

• Schedule: January 9 – April 25, 2025, 10-15 hours per week.
• Location: Remote, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace required.
• Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, eligible for academic credit only. Can also be completed in a volunteer capacity.
