Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for design, storytelling, and innovation? 

NVEEE’s Creative Services Subcommittee offers a dynamic opportunity for interns to unleash their creativity while contributing to impactful programs like PALS, PALP, and Affirm. Part of the broader Marketing and Communications Committee, this subcommittee is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in graphic design, video editing, digital storytelling, or creative marketing. You’ll gain hands-on experience creating eye-catching media, telling compelling stories, and shaping the visual identity of a nationally recognized nonprofit.

Responsibilities Include:

Graphic Design:

  • Design engaging graphics for print and digital platforms, including flyers, brochures, social media posts, and website visuals.
  • Collaborate on branding for events, programs, and campaigns to ensure a cohesive and professional look.

Video Creation and Editing:

  • Plan, film, and edit videos that highlight NVEEE’s programs, events, and participants’ experiences.
  • Create event recap videos, participant testimonials, and promotional trailers to engage audiences and attract future participants.

Interactive Media Projects:

  • Develop engaging interactive media, such as animated infographics, reels for social media, and visually dynamic presentations.
  • Design countdown timers, motion graphics, or mini-games to drive online engagement.

Social Media Content Creation:

  • Collaborate on campaigns that use creative visuals to tell the story of NVEEE’s mission and impact.
  • Curate Instagram Reels, TikToks, or other content that resonates with a youth audience.

Photography:

  • Capture high-quality photos at events, workshops, and socials to document and showcase the energy and diversity of NVEEE’s programs.
  • Create a digital photo archive to enhance branding and storytelling efforts.

Sponsorship Kits and Reports:

  • Ensure sponsorship deliverables are met by designing compelling sponsorship kits and creating impact reports for partners.

Themed Campaign Design:

  • Collaborate on designing themed campaigns for specific initiatives (e.g., Mental Health Awareness Month or Leadership Spotlights).

Storytelling through Design:

  • Partner with other committees to bring program stories to life through digital media, crafting narratives that inspire action and engagement.

Creative Branding Projects:

  • Help design program merchandise, such as t-shirts, notebooks, or event swag.
  • Create visually stunning event branding packages, including signage, banners, and themed decor designs.

Qualities Needed to Succeed

  • Creative thinker who thrives on "outside-the-box" ideas.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
  • Strong storytelling skills, using visuals to inspire and engage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and pay close attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration and a passion for making a social impact.
  • Willingness to adapt designs to align with NVEEE’s branding guidelines and mission.
