Job Title: Senior iOS Engineer

Job Overview

We're a fast-moving startup looking for a motivated and skilled iOS Engineer to build our mobile app from the ground up. This role is perfect for someone excited about creating high-quality, user-focused products in an iterative, agile environment. You’ll be responsible for developing and launching our iOS app, setting up a CI/CD pipeline, and working closely with a cross-functional team to refine features quickly based on user feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a new iOS app from scratch, using SwiftUI for a modern and responsive design.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and rapid deployment.
  • Collaborate with the design and product teams, using your intuition around UX to enhance user experience.
  • Build reliable, clean code that’s easy to maintain and iteratively improve.
  • Integrate the app with REST APIs, ensuring efficient and secure communication with backend services.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and deploy fixes quickly to maintain a smooth user experience.
  • Embrace an iterative development process, releasing new features and improvements frequently.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in iOS development with Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Proven track record of building and releasing iOS applications from scratch.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and pipelines for automated deployment.
  • Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience integrating backend services.
  • Strong grasp of UX principles and a natural sense for creating intuitive user interfaces.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to clean code and best practices.
  • High motivation to work in a fast-paced environment with a startup mindset, iterating frequently to deliver incremental improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks for iOS.
  • Knowledge of analytics, monitoring, and performance tools for mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with startup environments.
