Online Game Night Host

Ludio is looking for ONLINE game night hosts!

Ludio is a videoconferencing platform with social games built directly into the call. Ludio has a catalog of 50+ games, including party games, word games, social deduction games, card games, and more. You can see the full list of games on http://try.ludio.gg.

Ludio hosts daily game nights for a community of ~8000 people. Our community is 70% women in their 30s and 40s who want to socialize from the comfort of their own homes. 5-20 people show up to each game night.

Hosts must:

  1. Learn how to use the Ludio platform
  2. Learn how to play the 10 most popular games on the platform
  3. Run at least 1 game night a week (2 hours long) for new players
  4. Create a safe and fun atmosphere for the attendees
  5. Teach 3-4 different games during an event
  6. Moderate the social dynamic (e.g. police bad behavior, kick out bad actors)

A great host is energetic, fun to play games with, and naturally enthusiastic about talking to people and teaching games. The Ludio community is more social than competitive, and hosts should prioritize creating that positive social experience.

The interview process is straightforward:

  1. Show up to one of our regular game nights - we run 10 events a week, usually at 8pm ET. You can see our full calendar of events and RSVP directly on our website: https://www.ludio.gg/individual/events-calendar
  2. If we think you’d make a good host, we will train you for an extra 1-2 hours. Training involves learning our most popular games and learning how to use Ludio as a host. We pay for your training.
  3. After that, you can start hosting every week. We will sit in on your first few calls and give you feedback afterwards.
