Title: Sales & Outreach Intern
Overview:
As a Sales & Outreach Intern at SES Media Group, you will play a key role in driving artist and client acquisition by supporting sales initiatives and managing essential data. You’ll help secure new artists for SES Media’s smart merch and Tap Tech offerings by conducting research, maintaining a comprehensive database, and engaging in direct outreach. This role blends creative relationship-building with organizational research, providing critical support to the sales and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:

Research & Database Management:
Conduct thorough research on potential artists, management teams, booking agents, and venues. Build and maintain a detailed, organized database of contacts, ensuring that the information is current and easily accessible to support outreach and sales efforts. -
Client Outreach & Relationship Building:
Assist in reaching out to artists, managers, and industry professionals via email, phone, and in-person at live events. Help craft email templates, proposals, and presentations aimed at fostering new partnerships with artists, labels, and venues. -
Sales & Partnership Development:
Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored proposals for potential partnerships. Support the onboarding of new artists by preparing presentations and documentation. Your efforts will help expand SES Media’s client base, focusing on artists performing at venues with capacities of 1,000-10,000. -
Artist Recruitment:
Actively identify and approach emerging artists and their management teams, presenting SES Media’s smart merch and Tap Tech offerings. Cultivate relationships with potential clients to encourage sign-ups and long-term partnerships. -
Follow-Up & Engagement:
Maintain ongoing communication with potential and current artist partners. Assist in scheduling meetings, following up on outreach, and ensuring smooth artist onboarding.
Success Metrics:
- Number of artists and management teams successfully contacted and engaged.
- Quality and timeliness of research and data updates.
- Feedback from the sales team on the accuracy and usefulness of the database.
- Successful sign-ups and partnership agreements from outreach efforts.
- Number of artist meetings scheduled and closed partnership deals.
