Your role will encompass enhancing the quality of life and movement capabilities across various areas, and improve their overall quality of life.
Join our team of two physical therapists and four PTA's as we strive to deliver exceptional care and prioritize the well-being of our patients. We primarily cater to individuals with medicare and private medical insurance and operate from a cutting-edge sports medicine facility.

Under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist, they provide exercise instructions, therapeutic methods like electrical stimulation, mechanical traction, ultrasound and gait and balance training
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist
- This includes assisting with patient assessments, developing treatment plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to providing quality care
- Assist physical therapists in the treatment of patients
- Help patients with exercises and activities of daily living
- Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans
- Maintain patient records and document progress
- Provide support to physical therapists during patient evaluations
- Provide patient education on proper body mechanics and home exercise programs
- Assist with the application of therapeutic modalities
Experience:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professional boundaries
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address patients' needs and challenges during therapy sessions
- Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment and modalities safely and effectively
