Human Resources Specialist
Position Overview:
The Capital Delivery Services Department is looking for a detail oriented professional to join their Human Resources team. This position responsible for supporting an established Talent Acquisition (TA) team with a wide variety of activities throughout the recruiting and onboarding lifecycle. These responsibilities include advertising positions and attending career events, assisting with scheduling interviews, conducting pre-employment verification, preparing/maintaining records, and supporting upcoming TA projects and program initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation with an Associate degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related field, plus two (2) years of related HR experience.
- Any combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with external job advertising for an organization including creating job postings and attending career fairs.
- Experience scheduling interviews, reserving/preparing rooms, and coordinating meetings with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience preparing detailed documents, or completing data entry within an HRIS system.
- Experience supporting Talent Acquisition activities including conducting pre-employment, collecting references, verifying information, and onboarding.
- Experience building relationships with professional organizations and higher education institutions.
- Ability to travel to multiple work locations.
