We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Comic Book Author Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Story Development:
 - Assist in creating compelling storylines, characters, and dialogue for comic book projects.
 - Collaborate with illustrators and other team members to ensure the narrative aligns with the visual elements.
 - Develop original ideas and contribute to existing projects with fresh perspectives.

- Script Writing:
 - Write detailed comic book scripts that include panel descriptions, character actions, and dialogue.
 - Ensure scripts are clear and concise, providing necessary guidance for illustrators.
 - Revise and edit scripts based on feedback from the editorial team and collaborators.

- Research and Inspiration:
 - Conduct research to ensure accuracy and depth in story elements, such as historical contexts, cultural references, and character backgrounds.
 - Stay updated with current trends in the comic book industry and popular culture.
 - Draw inspiration from a wide range of sources to create unique and engaging content.

- Collaboration and Communication:
 - Work closely with the creative team, including editors, illustrators, and other writers, to bring stories to life.
 - Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new and ongoing projects.
 - Communicate effectively to ensure smooth project execution and meet deadlines.

- Editing and Feedback:
 - Assist in reviewing and editing comic book scripts to ensure high-quality storytelling.
 - Provide constructive feedback to peers and accept feedback to improve personal writing skills.
 - Ensure all written materials meet the company's standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Creative Writing, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, particularly in the comic book format.
- Ability to create engaging characters and plotlines.
- Proficiency in using word processing software and other writing tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for comic books and graphic novels.
