Public Relations Coordinator

Hayworth is a communications consultancy committed to intrepid ideas at the intersection of art & design. Led by Ellie Hayworth, the consultancy develops, manages, and executes on public relations and marketing strategies for diverse clients across the arts & culture sector across New York City and Miami. 

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, passionate Public Relations Coordinator to support ongoing communications and press efforts for our roster of artist, non-profit, and art-forward brand clients.

Candidates contribute superb written and verbal communications skills, apply a knowledge of social media and digital marketing strategies, including email marketing and paid media campaigns, and pride themselves on developing sharp, compelling, and focused pitches and materials to spark interest in the public and the press surrounding newsworthy milestones. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Development of press release copy, press pitches, key messaging documents, media briefing documents, face sheets, media alerts, clippings, and post-event reports

• Research and development of strategic press and prospective partner pitch lists in the sector of fashion, jewelry, fine art, architecture, and design

• Management of key and stakeholder press outreach including proactive follow-up and the prioritization of timely press needs

• Support with public relations requests such as coordination of press kits, selection of press-approved imagery, servicing of press needs, and liaison with clients for interview requests

• Event support including RSVP management, event check-in, photography escort, and post-event media alert development

• Maintenance and upload of new material to hayworth.co Webflow content development for @hayworth.co Instagram and syndication of content on LinkedIn
